Student Orientation

Student Orientation
Training Masters provides orientation to help new students understand their course, campus, study requirements and available support services.
Who Needs to Attend?
All new students are required to attend orientation before or at the commencement of their course. If you are unable to attend or arrive late, please contact Student Services as soon as possible so alternative arrangements can be made.
If you require language assistance, accessibility support or reasonable adjustment, please advise Student Services before orientation.
What Will Be Covered?
Orientation includes information about:
    • your course, timetable and commencement details;
    • campus facilities, emergency procedures and key staff;
    • eLearning access and use;
    • assessment, referencing, academic integrity and permitted AI use;
    • course progress and attendance requirements;
    • Training Masters policies, forms, complaints and appeals;
    • academic, LLN, digital, accessibility and wellbeing support;
    • visa responsibilities, OSHC and updating contact details;
    • personal safety, critical incidents and emergency assistance; and
    • living, studying and working in Australia.
Students will also have an opportunity to ask questions before commencing their studies.
Student Support
Student Services is your main point of contact if you need academic, administrative, wellbeing, accessibility or general support. Training Masters provides reasonable student support and referrals without an additional service charge. External service providers may charge their own fees.
After orientation, students should ensure they can access their eLearning account, timetable, course information and Student Services contact details.
